Light Labs is building the modern platform for lab testing, starting with consumer goods brands. We help companies test more cheaply, quickly, and enable them to use lab results to automate regulatory compliance and grow revenue.
We believe consumers deserve to know the purity and accuracy of every product that affects their families’ health. Improving our food system starts with increasing transparency and creating a more informed customer. Not only are we building a lab that makes testing faster, cheaper, and easier, but also the infrastructure that allows brands to:
By integrating the full experience – from testing to the data sharing with customers – we’re building a more efficient and streamlined process. Brands can now differentiate themselves and become the no-brainer choice in their category through testing and great transparency.
We’re a team of experienced founders that have raised $12M from top VCs (8VC and Valor). Light Labs is growing rapidly and at a $5M+ run rate within 12 months of launching to customers.
Light Labs is hiring a GTM Engineer to build and operate the growth engine that brings transparency to the food system. Leading consumer brands like AG1, Momentous, and David Protein trust Light Labs to power their product quality.
Growth at Light Labs is treated as a first-principles engineering problem: how we identify the right customers, engage them at the right moment, and scale distribution of a product that brands rely on to run testing and compliance. This role owns the systems and decisions that determine how pipeline is generated, converted, and scaled across inbound, outbound, and product-led surfaces.
You’ll design, build, and iterate on that engine in production: making disciplined build-vs-buy decisions, applying automation and AI where it creates real leverage, and creating systems that are measurable, reliable, and built to compound. The quality of what you build will show up directly in revenue, sales effectiveness, and the pace at which the company scales.
You’ll work side-by-side with the founders in Austin and play a central role in how Light Labs scales from early traction to an enduring company.

1) Make the sales team unstoppable. Build the account intelligence layer that sharpens every sales motion: create the best possible account universe, maintain a high-quality database, and prioritize accounts based on real timing and buying signals. Incorporate product usage and engagement signals so reps know when accounts are activating, stalling, or ready to expand. Map whitespace within accounts and operationalize land-and-expand plays. GTM is only as good as the data underneath it, so you’ll own data quality through automated enrichment, deduplication, and hygiene.
2) Build and scale acquisition channels that create alpha. Run high-tempo experimentation across acquisition channels to consistently generate pipeline for the business. Move quickly from hypothesis to launch, prioritize ruthlessly, and iterate based on results—doubling down on what works, cutting what doesn’t, and finding durable alpha before channels become crowded or commoditized.
3) Scale the Product Insight Panel. Grow adoption of our Product Insight Panel, the customer-facing layer that turns lab results into something brands can actually use. The Panel powers transparency for leading brands like AG1, Momentous, and David Protein by embedding verified test results directly into product pages. This has reframed testing from a pure cost center into a revenue and trust driver for our customers. You’ll expand distribution so more brands can tell the story of their quality at scale, and so Light Labs becomes the authority in third-party testing.
4) Build the AI-native GTM stack. Own the systems that move prospects from first touch to closed customer. Make clear build vs. buy decisions, and apply AI where it meaningfully improves targeting, enrichment, routing, and outreach. Own the GTM infrastructure end-to-end, including attribution, lead flow, and qualification—so the right leads reach the right reps quickly and reliably.
